Re: My last purchases for 2025
Thanks! Yes, the Tabuk was pretty high om my wanted list, and among the nicest variants in my collection! I will try to get a T lug fixed on the Maadi.

My last purchases for 2025
Well, two of the last purchases for 2025 were delivered just in time before the end of the year. My first Tabuk 6x4, and a third Egyptian 6x4. The first is beautifully made with pretty high manufacturing standards, while the other is beautiful in all it's crudeness. Sadly the latter is missing the ...

Shipping bayonets from Czech Republic - help needed
I came across a couple of bayonets I'm interested in. They are located in the Czech Republic, and the seller is somewhat reluctant to sell abroad. He is however very cooperative otherwise, and suggested to send or hand over the bayonets to someone within the Czech Republic who has more experience ...

Second Chinese AKM bayonet added to my collection
I just received the orange variant of the Chinese AKM bayonet. Is it correct that, besides the bulge on the orange variant's scabbard, the scabbards can also differ in length? The orange one is about a centimeter shorter than the black one.

Since not really of interest to me (collecting only from type 6x3 and up), I have a rare type 68 for sale. Condition wise, it has seen better days, but it might still make a good addition to a collection. Asking €250 + shipping.

WTS some of my Romanian duplicates
Due to some duplicates if my collection, I am selling some of the Romanian models. I have the AIMS-74 in every variant regarding the frogs (green nylon, black leather and brown leather), and a 6x4. All are in very good condition, some have the dreaded wear on the open arrow Izhevsk logo on the ...

Re: Russian part of my collection
Thanks Mike! Yes, 3 and 6 have the handwritten serial numbers. The two regular 6x4's are matching and numbered in the - I believe - correct location on scabbard and handles. The two other 6x4 with lightweight pommel aren't numbered. Pictures to follow!

Re: Russian part of my collection
Look for original production variations in the best possible condition. Re-worked examples with miss-matched and forced match numbers should be avoided as any combination is possible and usually wrong. Read all the posts here to learn of all the possibilities.

Re: WTS Lithuanian 6x4 with camo frog, MINT
I am sorry Mike, you are right - the bayonet itself is a Russian Izhevsk, like used by Lithuania in combination with their specific frogs. I am sorry if my description suggested this 6x4 had been produced in Lithuania, which is certainly not the case. I can upload some more detailed photo's of the ...
